It sounds kinda…I don’t know…insulting…?

Well, that’s sorta the way I came around to getting into finding stuff to do here: by default. I spent years hoping and wishing to go somewhere else (Boston, Chicago, Portland, etc.), and whining about there being nothing to do here.

It wasn’t until I chanced upon some of Dallas’s musical magic when passing through Austin (see this post)–and finally managed to drag my sorry ass out of the apartment to go see more–that I got the point that there’s stuff to do here.

You just have to look. The internet helps–but I still haven’t found one all-encompassing place to look. So, I thought I’d provide links, ideas, and maybe (eventually) a calendar.
